Nature Up Close and Personal!

Want to see some great video of animals in their native habitat? Check out the live animal cams sent out by the Audubon Society on explore.org. There are dozens of live cams, but

not all of them broadcast all the time. It depends on the time of day and the habits of the animals. The best is when you can watch the baies being born or hatching. In fact, there is an opportunity to sign up for alerts when interesting things such as these are happening.

Right now you can watch an Osprey preparing her nest in Bremen, Maine, A great Horned Owl and Long-eared Owl in Montana or two hummingbirds sitting on their nests in California. There are a number of other animal cams showing different aquatic animals in the Aquarium of the Pacific in California and a variety of other locations.

Some animals that may be coming online soon i

nclude puffins from Seal Island, Maine and a variety of animals in Africa. You really need to check in at different times of the day to see them all. For example, with the time difference between here and Africa, the animal cams will be live during the morning hours.
