The Cryer-Kafkas Connection
Fluency for Friends - Team Cryer
For this project, students chose a picture book from a large collection. They were then tasked with becoming professional readers! Students read their books over an over again. They practiced with their friends and practiced with me. Their goal was to perfect the smoothness (phrasing), speed and expression of their reading.
When they felt they were perfect, each student made a final recording which will be burned onto a CD. Then the book and Cd will be presented to the kindergarten or first grade class of the student's choice for use in the class listening library.
