Research Videos

 

In preparation for their book club groups, students needed to do some research to learn about topics integral to the stories they were about to read. Below are the videos they created to present their information. Due to a number of special events, students did not have as much time to work on the scripts as I had hoped, but they did a great job under the time they had.

 

FYI- this was the first time I tried using a green screen effect, so I did the editing. Next time I will have the students do it. Essentially, the video was take in front of a green piece of fabric. Then, using the computer, I put the background behind the video and had the computer remove all of the green background. That way the only thing left in the video was the person talking and you can see the image behnd them.
